I got this question again right after I shared todays quarantine workout on twitter
Im shooting a dead horse here, but bodyweight workouts DO require both equipment and some added external load if you want to turn them into serious mass gaining exercises.
You can train strength endurance for as many reps as you want, but the only way to add "mass" is by building strength, and that comes either doing gymnastics style training and using rings and dip bars and seriously dedicating yourself to basically being an adult gymnast and doing nothing but that,
Or you can go the more simple route, which is adding weight to bodyweight exercises and getting strong at weighted dips, pushups, lunges, pull-ups, so on and so forth.
Bodyweight Bedrock Follows This Approach.
